Solvespace Terms of Service

Effective date: 6 September 2026
Governing entity: Solvespace (the “Platform”)
Audience: Individual contributors, research teams, and enterprise sponsors

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Solvespace, including Problem Rooms, the Git-backed Solution Canvas, automated AI auditing, and the outbound/inbound research-and-development marketplace. By creating an account, posting a challenge, joining a room, or locking escrow, you agree to these Terms.

1. Platform role

Solvespace operates as an independent intermediary marketplace and facilitation layer. The Platform:

  • hosts collaboration rooms and related technical artifacts;
  • provides automated AI audit signals for investment-readiness and anti-sybil review;
  • may hold bounty funds in escrow pending verification and sponsor instruction; and
  • does not become an employer, joint-venture partner, or professional advisor of any user.

Solvespace does not practice law, provide investment advice, or guarantee that any solution will be commercially successful, scientifically complete, or fit for a particular regulatory purpose.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must provide accurate identity and organizational information. Enterprise sponsors must ensure that only authorized employees or agents post NDA-protected challenges. You are responsible for all activity under your credentials, including API keys supplied through bring-your-own-key (“BYOK”) routing.

3. Acceptable use and user conduct

You agree not to:

  • upload malware, exploit payloads, or unauthorized access tooling;
  • impersonate another person or fabricate a synthetic identity to evade anti-sybil controls;
  • harass, dox, or threaten other participants;
  • scrape, resell, or reverse engineer non-public room data;
  • interfere with AI auditor integrity, including flooding a repository with a single-dump codebase to manufacture activity; or
  • use the Platform to conduct sanctions evasion, money laundering, or other unlawful activity.

4. Anti-vandalism policy

Solvespace treats vandalism as a material breach. Vandalism includes, without limitation:

  • destructive commits intended to erase or sabotage another team’s work;
  • mass-deletion of thread history, canvas proposals, or audit records;
  • injection of offensive, illegal, or off-topic content into NDA rooms;
  • coordinated downvote or proposal-spam campaigns designed to stall consensus; and
  • attempts to disable rate limits, row-level security, or escrow controls.

The Platform may freeze a room, revert Git-backed proposals, suspend accounts, and, where an enterprise NDA is in force, notify the corporate sponsor. Repeat or severe vandalism may result in permanent exclusion and referral to law enforcement.

5. Problem Rooms, NDA challenges, and confidentiality

Public rooms may be indexed for matchmaking. Enterprise rooms marked is_enterprise_nda are confidential workspaces. Invited members and authorized enterprise auditors must not disclose challenge materials, datasets, or draft solutions outside the room except as required by law or written sponsor instruction.

6. AI auditing and automated decisions

Audit scores, human-variance flags, and verification status are decision-support signals. They do not replace sponsor diligence. You acknowledge that large-language-model analysis runs exclusively on Solvespace servers and that audit outputs may be incomplete or incorrect. Sponsors remain responsible for final payout, refund, and licensing decisions.

7. Content license to operate the Platform

You grant Solvespace a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, transmit, and create technical copies of content you submit solely to operate, secure, and improve the Platform. Commercial redistribution of contributor solutions to enterprise sponsors is governed by the Contributor Agreement, not this operational license.

8. Enforcement

Solvespace may remove content, restrict features, or terminate access where it reasonably believes these Terms, an NDA, escrow terms, or applicable law have been violated. Rate limits, including the five-problem-creation cap per rolling twenty-four hours, are part of Platform integrity controls.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Platform is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solvespace disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Solvespace’s aggregate liability arising from the Platform shall not exceed the fees actually paid to Solvespace by the claiming party in the three months preceding the claim, excluding amounts held in escrow for third parties.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version in the Legal & Compliance Hub. Material changes to enterprise commercial terms will be notified to the billing contact on file. Legal notices: legal@solvespace.com.
